HOUSE IN BACK is a Chicago area based band with Southern California Country Rock influences. Larry Kot, Danny Janotta, and Ray Snyder are the core members of the band with contributions by Sasha Birrittella (lead guitars), Jesse Olema (bass, fiddle, mandolin, drums and vocals), Karlina Covington (vocals), Joel Martin (pedal steel guitar), Brian Masters (auctioneer vocals), Gabe Martin(trumpet) and Paul Fuller (banjo).

All compositions are written and composed by Kot & Janotta. They are strongly influenced by country rock and pop from the 1960's and 1970's, especially from prominent groups such as The Eagles, Poco, America, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Flying Burrito Brothers, Firefall, Heartsfield and other Country Rock bands. Recorded and written in various areas of the country, .... Illinois, Hawaii, and California, HOUSE IN BACK songs offer a a variety of musical sounds similar to current artists such as Mumford & Sons, The Wild Feathers, Wilco, Lord Huron, Band of Horses, and The Avett Brothers.
